Rise Up is thrilled to join with fellow leading global gender equality organizations to launch an exciting new collective impact partnership that aims to increase the economic power of girls and women in India, where currently only 29% of women formally participate in the workplace.
The three-year project, “Collective Impact Partners: Women’s and Girl’s Economic Empowerment Advocacy in India,” will be co-led by Global Fund for Women, Global Women’s Leadership Network, Public Health Institute, Rise Up, and World Pulse.
Our collaborative work with Collective Impact Partners (CIP) will build upon the deep knowledge and capacities of civil society leaders and organizations to advocate for girls’ and women’s economic justice and empowerment in Maharashtra, India.

Rise Up is seeking a creative and experienced video consultant for the creation of a 3-5 minute promotional video that will tell the story of Rise Up’s mission, vision and program impacts. The ideal candidate is a professional director/producer/videographer with experience working in the global nonprofit sector. The project will adhere to a tight timeline and will be developed in close collaboration with the Rise Up Executive Director and Director of Operations.

Rise Up is delighted to announce a new partnership with Cummins Inc. that will expand our global reach in enabling girls and women to transform their own lives, communities, and countries through advocacy and policy change.
On Thursday, March 8th – International Women’s Day – Cummins unveiled the Cummins Powers Women initiative, the company’s most ambitious community initiative ever. Cummins’ investment in Rise Up is $6 million over three years. The initiative represents a monumental investment in proven programs like Rise Up that are creating large-scale impact in the lives of girls and women globally.
Rise Up Founder Denise Dunning was featured as the Keynote speaker for Cummins 2nd annual Global Women’s Conference for Leadership, where the Cummins initiative was announced.
